As construction gets underway on Missoni Baia on the shores of Biscayne Bay, the New York Post is reporting that Angela Missoni, daughter of the fashion house’s founding couple, oversaw the design of the building’s amenities. Missoni Baia, which will stand 57 stories tall and be home to 249 Edgewater condos when it is complete, will feature a suite of resort-caliber amenities, including multiple pools, a landscaped sundeck, an elevated tennis court, a children’s playroom, and a large private spa. These spaces will feature items from the Missoni Home collection as well as design elements in the fashion house’s trademark blue, green, and yellow color palette, as chosen by Angela Missoni herself.

The Edgewater condos at OKO Group-developed Missoni Baia now have their first two stories completed. The luxury tower’s lower levels will be home to private on-site parking—a seven-story garage offering valet parking service—that will have space for 399 cars. The rest of the 56-story building, which will stand 649 feet tall upon completion, will be composed of 249 condos and ample amenity space, including a 1,700-square-foot gym, an Olympic-length lap pool, and expansive outdoor terraces with views of the bay.
